Maintenance

When your project is complete and you have moved in, our maintenance team will continue to work with you to make sure you have everything needed to safely occupy the space. This includes providing:

  • A copy of your Certificate of Classification and all Trade Certificates.
  • A copy of the As Built drawings.
  • All operating manuals and warranty forms for new products and appliances.

Often tenants don’t realise or remember that regular testing of electrical, emergency and fire systems need to be carried out. We'll work with you to ensure that tests are being carried out every 6 months.

Electrical Safety Tests

Every 6 months your electrical safety switches need to be tested using the inbuilt test button - this can be done by you and we’ll show you how. Once every 2 years an operating time/current test must be carried out by a qualified person. Or if there are no safety switches fitted all electrical equipment must be tested and tagged.

Emergency Fire & Lighting Tests

As part of Australian Standards your emergency escape lighting, exit signs and portable fire extinguishers need to be tested by a qualified person every 6 months.

Tenancy Dilapidation Reports

It is recommended that every 12 months a dilapidation inspection of your fitout be carried out. This is a preventative exercise to ensure there are no defective work or maintenance issues that could disrupt your business or cause injury. We will contact you every 12 months to arrange an inspection. Any maintenance concerns that require repairing are reported back to you with a price for rectification.
