Clemenger is one of Australia’s most creative advertising agencies working with many high profile businesses and brands, with offices throughout Australia.

After a review of accommodation options Clemenger decided to take a full floor in 545 Queen Street - a recently refurbished building with a 4 star Green Star rating and 4.5 star NABERS Energy rating. With the decision made to relocate mid-November 2009, they needed staff relocated and operational before Christmas. To make this happen Priority had to respond quickly and develop a plan for them to achieve this and we advised that the work needed to be scheduled in 3 stages:

Stage 1 – Set up the open plan area with 54 workstations with screens, data and power points. Having workstations set up first would allow them to relocate while other works continued. This was a challenge as workstations and screens have long lead-times.

Stage 2 – Install essential services, air-conditioning, additional electrical as well as install office joinery and painting over the Christmas period while most staff are on leave.

Stage 3 – Construct the front of house facilities - Reception, Meeting Rooms, Boardroom and Breakout area. This stage had to be well planned and coordinated, as their staff would be working next to a construction site.

This was a well-planned and fast-paced project for everyone involved. Priority’s experience and ability to manage construction and control suppliers while the space was occupied made it possible for this work to be done in such an extremely short timeframe. The final result is a well-designed fitout that communicates their level of professionalism, innovation and creativity, entwining a highly positive experience for staff and clients.
